Architect and industrial designer, Jorge Pensi was born in Buenos Aires in 1946. After beginning his professional career in Argentina, he moved to Spain and settled in Barcelona, taking Spanish citizenship.

His specialities are furniture design, lighting, and stand installations. He works occasionally with his wife Carmen Casares in the field of textile design and graphics, and also with Eduardo Campoamor for architecture and interior design. 

Alongside his professional activities, he holds courses and lectures in various countries. From 1989 on, he has worked assiduously with firms at an international level, amongst these being Cassina.  Jorge Pensi has designed products that have won prizes and world-wide recognition.
