519 Petalo
Design: Charlotte Perriand
(1951)

The differing colors of the five nesting tables recall a rainbow. The surfaces have a triangular shape, with rounded corners and a metal structure that seems to have been designed with a single pencil line. Created in 1951 for rooms in the university city of Antony, near Paris, but never before put into production, these nesting tables can be used to create many different combinations, unfolding like petals along the arc of a circle, or in other variable arrangements.

Matte black enamelled base. Tops are available in natural oak, black stained oak, or colored lacquer. Each color lacquered size is specific: 42.3" red - 40.9" grey - 36.2" yellow - 31.1 green - 26" blue.
